The new studio album from Black Roots, "On The Ground" is available now on vinyl, CD and digital download via Sugar Shack Records. There's a limited edition 12" of the track "Pompous Way" coming next month featuring the vocal, dub and a mix from Rootikal which is really nice, there's also a digital download version with two extra mixes from Oldwah.

What Dub Vendor doesn't state is that the B side is a really nice extended remix from Rootikal with a really classic roots sound/vibe.

Regarding the sleeve, well it's not my favourite that we've done, but it does grow on you and we had to accomodate what the band wanted, hopefully I've stopped Sam who desinged it from leaving the title off on future sleeves.

There will be a dub version next year, I'm afraid the sleeve will probably be based on this one.

We are also going to be doing a limited vinyl repress of the first Black Roots album, not sure of the numbers yet, but it could be very limited though we won't be charging any crazy prices unlike some labels.

J'ai recemment trouvé ce 12'' chez Oneness Records et j'encourage tout le monde a se le procurer. Terrible cut d'une et très bien mixé, avec une très très bonne sur un system!! La face B avec l'entrée du mélodica rajoute à ma joie de jouer ce 12''! Chaudement recommandé!
