Tropic Disco is a sound system born from the collaboration between Rootikalist, Jo & Brother Charlie.
After years of radio shows, dances, journeys between London and Kingston and collaborations with national and international guests, the need to build a speaker system true to the Jamaican sound system culture became evident.
The Tropic Disco Soundsystem plays a vinyl selection far from sterotypes & fashion hypes, ready to make you dance with some unusual & lesser known gems from the ‘60s to the early ‘80s - as well as more familiar grooves.
